Candlestick Patterns · Bullish
Three Inside Up
A bullish harami followed by a third candle that closes above the first high.
The inside candle pauses the decline. The third candle confirms by closing above the first candle.
This is an example of how traders often plan the pattern. It is not a promise that price will reach the target.
Identification
- Candles one and two form a bullish harami.
- Candle three closes above the high of candle one.
Market context
The third close is what separates this from a harami that goes nowhere.
Entry example
An example entry is above the third candle.
Stop-loss example
An example stop is below the lowest low of the three candles.
Target example
An example target is the prior swing high.
Common mistakes
- Stopping at the harami and calling the pattern complete.
Candlestick and chart patterns are probabilistic observations, not guaranteed trading signals. This page does not report a win rate.
